Microsoft Dynamics CRM is among the most popular customer relationship management solutions not only because it's an excellent, affordable choice, but also because it integrates perfectly with other Microsoft technologies. For SIRE Technologies, a company providing document and agenda management solutions for local, county, and state governments, that integration was a key factor in making MS Dynamics CRM a great fit.
SIRE Technologies is Microsoft Certified, as is Customer Dynamics, so they saw the value of those qualifications. They also valued the fact that Customer Dynamics is willing, as they are, to step outside the box to customize solutions for the perfect fit.
SIRE Technologies was using another CRM solution, but it didn't fit neatly with their other software, so there was always a lot of copy and paste and duplicate information. Switching to MS Dynamics CRM was clearly the solution to the problem, but SIRE had eight years of data, with 5,500 accounts and over 6,000 contacts, to migrate from one system to the other.
Not only was this a large task, but there were issues with mapping the data. Customer Dynamics has extensive experience with
data migration, and was able to make the move nearly painless. When some small problems arose, Customer Dynamics found the source of the problem -- customizations made by SIRE Technologies to their old CRM in an attempt to make it work smoothly -- and solved it.
“We’d been talking with Customer Dynamics for some time, and their specific expertise with Microsoft Dynamics CRM was compelling,” Director of Operations Kyle Young says. “The conversion support available from Customer Dynamics was the crux of electing to go with them. Support was a big deal in our mind - and they took care of us.”
